Hand Therapy

The staff at Blackbird Physiotherapy have specialized training in the treatment of hand, wrist, elbow, and shoulder injuries. All of our Physio and Occupational Therapists hold the Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) certification.

What is a Certified Hand Therapist?

A CHT is an occupational therapist or physical therapist with a minimum of five years clinical experience, including 4,000+ hours in direct hand therapy practice, who has passed a comprehensive exam in upper quarter rehabilitation. CHTs must recertify every five years to demonstrate continued competency.
