Pelvic Floor Therapy
Jen McNutt offers specialized pelvic floor physiotherapy for clients experiencing urinary incontinence, pelvic pain, or other pelvic health concerns. She also has a special interest in how hormonal changes may impact injury and recovery.
Breathwork
Breathing patterns affect everything from pain levels to posture to stress response. Our physiotherapists assess and retrain dysfunctional breathing patterns as part of a holistic approach to recovery and performance.
What is Functional Dry Needling?
Dry needling is a technique physiotherapists use to treat pain and movement impairments. A thin “dry” needle (without medication) is inserted through the skin into trigger points in the muscle.
Dry needling is not acupuncture. It’s based on modern Western medicine principles and supported by research.
A trigger point is a taut band of skeletal muscle that can cause local tenderness and referred pain. Dry needling aims to release these trigger points, reduce muscle tension, and improve range of motion.
