Aileen Anderson

Aileen graduated from the University of British Columbia with a degree in Physical Therapy in 2004. She began her career at GF Strong Rehabilitation Centre in Vancouver, working on the spinal cord injury unit with patients with dual diagnoses of ABI, a clinical area she remains passionate about.

In 2007, Aileen and her husband moved to Nelson, and she began working in private practice. She received her Hand Therapy Certification in 2013 and enjoys treating the variety of conditions that come with an upper extremity caseload.

Aileen has a special interest and additional post-graduate education in central and peripheral neurological conditions, and extensive experience treating persistent pain. Fabricating custom splints is a skill that enhances her practice.

She strives to serve her clients with compassion and a client-centered approach. Outside the clinic, you’ll find her on the soccer field or out hiking and skiing.

Stubborn injury that won’t quit? Aileen loves a challenge.
