Aileen Anderson

Physiotherapist / Hand Therapist

Aileen graduated from University of British Columbia with a degree in Physical therapy in 2004. She began her career at GF Strong Rehabilitation Center, in Vancouver, working on the spinal cord injury unit with patients with a dual diagnosis of ABI – a clinical area that she is still passionate about.

In 2007 Aileen and her husband decided to return to his Kootenay roots by moving to Nelson, and Eileen began working in private practice. Her journey has led to a passion for Hand Therapy, and in 2013 she received her Hand Therapy Certification.

Throughout her clinical practice Eileen has developed a special interest in assisting clients to navigate the complex world of persistent pain, and the often challenging realities of returning to work. She strives to offer client-centered care at all times, and she is dedicated to achieving results. She looks forward to playing a role in your recovery.

In their spare time Aileen and her husband enjoy outdoor activities including hiking, skiing, golfing, and especially soccer. They take pleasure of introducing their two little girls to all of the recreational opportunities that the Kootenays have to offer.
